Nomination deadline: 20th June, 2025

Introduction:
The Excellent Young Scientist Award grants the most excellent young researchers in the fields of Material Strength and Applied Mechanics all over the world. The MSAM Excellent Young Scientist Award is given in both areas (Material Strength or Applied Mechanics), and consists of a cash prize of 500 USD, a certificate and a plaque.

Eligibility:
1. The award is open to PhD holders under the age of 40 who have conducted innovative and impactful research with a positive global influence.
2. The applicants currently hold an independent academic position or are a senior researcher in an Industry or Government research institute, have published significant papers in their field, and have actively participated in or led pertinent research projects.
3. The applicants must register and attend the conference.

Requirements:
1. A complete resume and a concise biography (not exceeding 400 words) are required, showcasing the candidate's career achievements and contributions to their field.
2. Submission of five or more representative research papers is essential. These papers should highlight the candidate's research excellence and contributions to their area of expertise.
3. Each candidate must be nominated by 1~2 senior researchers, ensuring that nominees are recognized by their peers for their achievements.

Selection:
The applicants will be evaluated by the committee of MSAM Conference, and two awardees will be selected in the field of Material Strength or Applied Mechanics.
The award winners will be announced during the conference.

Nominations are now open to the community with no discrimination for region or gender and should be sent to the conference secretary Kelly Feng via msam@msamconf.org.
